5th Grade Buddies

Monday afternoons are the day that kindergartners get to spend some time with their 5th grade buddies.  This week Mr. Hall brought everyone out to the garden.

First the kids picked beans and collected the seeds.

Then they picked some carrots.  The kids were thrilled to find some REALLY BIG carrots!

The Rules of Listening

Mrs. Libby and her puppet friends, Slow Down Snail and Impulsive Puppy, visited kindergarten on Wednesday for our weekly guidance lesson.  She talked more about Whole Body Listening and taught the kids the 4 Rules of Listening.

Rule #1:  Eyes Watching

Rule #2:  Ears Listening

Rule #3:  Body Still

Rule #4:  Voices Quiet

At the end of the lesson, Mrs. Libby ended with her fun game of Hot Potato.
